Outline of our research activities
Our group has an interest in applying atomic and nuclear physics to advanced science and technology. In particular, we are studying physical mechanisms on the transport of high-density energy generated by elementary particle and nuclear reactions in matter and biological body, in connection with development of next-generation fission and fusion energy system, space equipment, etc. The scope of our research covers neutron and light-ion induced reactions, nuclear data, radiation physics, radiation transport calculations, radiation detection, multi-scale simulation of single-event effects in microelectronic devices, and so on.
